FAQ
Is a key needed?
No, reading is open (about 120 requests a minute per address). A key lifts the limit and enables the write endpoints.
How fresh is the data?
A posting is served the moment it is indexed. Large employers are re-checked daily, the public employment services in full weekly and for new postings every few hours.
Are the derived fields made by AI?
No. They are read from the posting by deterministic rules. A fact the posting does not state is null, never guessed.
How do I get every open posting once?
active-jobs?time_frame=6m&limit=1000&cursor=1, then the last id of each page as the next cursor, until a page is empty. See Recommended strategy.
Can I use existing code written for another job feed?
Yes: the default output uses the universal job-feed layout (the same paths such as /v1/active-ats, the same field names such as ai_work_arrangement, the same order), so it works unchanged. Extra fields this index adds come after them. schema=native gives this index's own names.
Which countries are covered?
Every country companies hire in. Germany and the 30 EURES countries also through their public employment services. See Country statistics.
Where do I report a wrong posting?
Every posting links to its original page (url); when the source changes, the posting changes here, and modified-jobs reports it.
