Derived fields

Every derived field is read from the posting itself by rules: deterministic, explainable, and null when the posting does not say.

  • Pay: amount, range, currency and period from the pay statement (in 10+ languages), or from the description only when it states a period. Germany's agency gives pay as structured data.
  • Experience: years asked for ("3+ years", "mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung"), bucketed 0-2 / 2-5 / 5-10 / 10+; otherwise from the title's seniority.
  • Work arrangement: remote, hybrid or on-site from the location, title and text; Remote Solely when the posting says fully remote. Office days for hybrid roles when stated.
  • Employment type: from the platform's own field and the title (Werkstudent, Praktikum, stage, internship…).
  • Language: from the posting's own words (20+ languages).
  • Skills and keywords: 300+ skills, matched with context so "Go" or "R" are not mistaken in ordinary text.

  • Responsibilities and requirements: the posting's own sections, located by their headings in many languages and quoted verbatim.
  • Function: 20 job functions from the title and department.
  • Visa sponsorship: only when the posting says it does or does not sponsor.
  • Agency: staffing and placement agencies from Germany's agency classification and agency names in many languages.
